Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Esther I grew up in Cadiz, a beautiful city in south Spain. I am very interested in history and languages. I have a Bachelor Degree in Ancient History, and I lived two years in Italy, where I learnt Italian. For the last 20 years I have been living in Ireland where I married an Irish man and brought up three boys.

Tutoring Experience:

During the last 20 years I have been teaching Spanish at all levels.
I have taught adults night classes in Shannon, Newcastle West, and currently in Tralee, and in these years I have been teaching numerous one-to-one classes to adults who love to have some Spanish for their holidays.
I prepare students for the Leaving and Junior Cert, with success . Right now I have 3 students getting ready for a Spanish Junior Cert Exam, a subject that is not available in their own school.
I have lots of experience teaching children.

Approach to Grinds:

Junior and Leaving Cert: I am familiar with the syllabus and the way the exams papers are.I like my students to have a solid base in grammar,and we work the vocabulary through Spanish conversations and games.
Adults: my teaching methods are very flexible, I adapt to the needs of the student, most like to learn through conversation and in a relax way.
Children: when I teach kids the main objective is that they enjoy the class. I use games, flash cards, and all kind or interactive resources.
