Information About Eoin - Swords tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Eoin ; I am a 27-year-old PhD student in the Department of Physics at the University of Limerick. I previously completed a degree in Physics from UL!

I also received A1s in both Maths and Physics for the leaving cert.

Outside of my studies, I love sports. I watch all kinds and continue to play hurling for my boyhood club in County Kilkenny. I enjoy reading books and keeping up to date on current affairs and I am generally quite curious about all things.

I enjoy helping people learn; I am very passionate about it. I strive to help students understand the core concepts, not just rote learning everything. It is much more enjoyable and rewarding this way.

I truly believe everyone can be good at maths and physics, we all need some encouragement and a pace of learning that suits us.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught Maths and Physics at the University level for 4 years, and I have a further 4 years of experience giving maths grinds to students at both junior and senior cycles.

Approach to Grinds:

I want the students to learn at their comfortable pace and be completely safe in knowing that that is okay with me. My personal approach to teaching is to let students actively try problems during the lesson, explain to me what they don't understand, and then I can help them understand it better.

In short, it is active learning and is directed by the student, no lecturing.
