Personal Description:
I am an innovative teacher that loves teaching and helping children develop through the many different subjects such as maths, English, Gaeilge, PE etc. I also have a huge interest in ICT (computers), as I have a Masters degree in eLearning and also completed modules in ICT and LEGO Education, and PE from my own love of playing sports.
Tutoring Experience:
I qualified from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick in 2014, with a Bachelor of Education with Gaeilge degree. I was also part of the first group in Europe to have a degree in LEGO Education. I have experience in all class groups from Junior Infants to 6th class, and working with Special Educational Needs through working in resource and learning support. I have returned to Clare to teach after working in a primary school in Tallaght for 7 years.
Approach to Grinds:
Determine the areas in which a child is struggling and use exciting, engaging and motivating activities to help the child develop on their skills and overcome challenges.
