Personal Description:

I have a degree in Communications through Irish, a diploma in Irish and completed all education through third level in the Irish language.

I am very outgoing, love meeting new people and learning new languages. I'm bubbly, enthusiastic and friendly with a patient approach to language learning.

Tutoring Experience:

I did all of my schooling through the Irish language, including my bachelor's degree of Communications (Cumarsáid agus Gaeilge). I have worked for TG4, and Irish radio in the past. I have experience on radio and writing in the Irish language and also did Irish debating for 3 years. I have a huge passion for our native language and would be more than happy to help Irish language learners build confidence in their abilities.

I also worked as an ESL teacher for 3 years, online teaching for 2 years. I am a freelance writer, and have my own travel website. I have been blogging for 4 years, and story-telling and essay style writing is another one of my passions. I thoroughly enjoy helping my students portraying a story and captivating their audience in the process. I have taught Irish students as well as adults and children around the world, online, groups and one to ones and look forward to meeting new people through tutoring.

Approach to Grinds:

I make sure to have interactive and engaging classes with students actively learning by doing. This means we will use a lot of conversation, questions and repetition. Depending on the students needs, I have a lot of patience, and try to make the classes fun, as well as effective learning environments for the best possible outcome and overall experience.
