Information About Edward - Thomastown tutor

Personal Description:

I am a fully qualified primary teacher available for grinds in all primary subjects. My previous teaching role as learning support and resource teacher includes extensive one-to-one and small group learning with both lower ability and gifted and talented learners. I am living in south Kilkenny and I am happy to travel to accommodate grinds. I am available for individual or group grinds. References available on my profile.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and with a variety of learning needs. My previous classrooms have been integrated classroom with a child with down syndrome, children with behavior difficulties and autism. My aim for teaching has always and will always be for each student in the class to be given the opportunity to reach his or her fullest potential to further enhance their educational experience for learning, life and work in the future.

Approach to Grinds:

I am enthusiastic and energetic, always positive and always thinking of new ideas and strategies to meet pupil’s needs. I believe that a positive learning environment has emotional, social and mental benefits.

I will draw up a personalized learning plan and timetable of targets to be achieved in order to guarantee success in any subject or phase. Each lesson will be specifically planned to suit the individual needs of the learner and maximize their potential.

Recently I have worked a lot with pupils for Junior Cert Maths. Both higher and ordinary level.
