Personal Description:

Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Maths/Computer Science. Previously an afterschool teacher in a local creche. I strive to excel in my studies and would like to share this with other students. I love doing maths puzzles and playing games like Sudoku in my spare time. I also enjoy reading Fiction, and Sci-fi novels of all sorts.

I spent the summer of 2019 in America on a J1 visa working in a summer camp for children with special needs. It was an incredible experience, and truly live changing for me. I have been doing Lau Gar Martial Arts for over 5 years, I am currently a 7th cup (brown sash).

Tutoring Experience:

I have a years experience as an afterschool teacher in a creche, working with 4-11 year olds. I also spent summer 2019 in Texas, USA working as a camp counsellor in a summer camp for children with additional needs (6-16 year olds).

I have over 3 years of tutoring experience with Junior and Senior cycle to maths students across both Ordinary and Higher Level. Including teaching pre-university maths to an Ordinary Level LC student intending to study Engineering in University.

Approach to Grinds:

I find working with numbers comes easily to me, and enjoy helping students of all levels develop their own maths skills. I understand that not all students share this passion but with assistance and a bit of hard work many older students can reach above and beyond their goals. While younger students in particular can develop an enjoyment for mathematics which will ease them through the subject in later years.
