Information About Dylan - Portmarnock tutor

Personal Description:

I have taught three different curriculums in my time as a qualified teacher. I have also worked on the making of mock exams for history with one of the two Irish companies that provide mock exams to schools. I have a vast amount of experience and knowledge regarding the new JC History course, along with developing plans for all LC History answers for long questions.

Also taught Psychology for both GCSE and A-Levels in London, and was subject leader in my previous school in London.

Approach to Grinds:

Meeting the needs of the student. All students learn differently, and this can lead to issues in the classroom as teachers cannot teach one lesson a number of different ways to meet the learning needs of all students. Use of many ICT products such as videos and online activities to help students learn in a variety of different ways. Also, a vast amount of focus will be placed on preparation for exams and look at answering technique.
