Personal Description:

Passionate science and biology teacher with 13 years of teaching experience. My aim is to maximise student results through improving student understanding and exam focused revision.

I'm based in Castletroy, Limerick.

Tutoring Experience:

- Second level JC science and LC biology teacher with 12 years teaching experience in the Irish education system.
- 6 years experience of correcting state examinations.
- 8 years experience delivering science and biology grinds and tutoring students wishing to take up biology as an extra subject outside school.
-I received a A1 in higher level biology in the LC exam.

Approach to Grinds:

-Exam focused notes provided for all grind sessions. These are provided for all grinds.
-Completion and correction of all exam questions for each topic.
-Using exams and worksheets to check for student understanding and identify areas of difficulty.
-ICT used to enhance lessons where necessary.
-Familiarise students with exam layout, timing spent on questions and marking schemes.
