Personal Description:

Hi! I am a fully qualified Home Economics, Biology and Junior Cycle Science teacher. I am willing to provide grinds online or in person in the Kilkenny/ Carlow area. I am friendly, enthusiastic and motivated to help students reach their goals and I have a passion for teaching and learning. I have given grinds for a number of years now and I have a strong understanding of the marking scheme for exams and like to bring this focus into my teaching to instill confidence in students that they know the key information to study.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience teaching both Higher and Ordinary level Biology and Home Economics at Leaving Certificate Level and Common Level Home Economics and Science at Junior Cycle.
I have also given grinds for the past 4 years, in both individual and group settings and I have experience correcitng Leaving Certificate Biology Mock Exams.

Approach to Grinds:

I begin with having a conversation with each student to discuss how they prefer to learn, what learning and study methods work for them, establish their goals and from here make a plan as to how I will help them achieve them. I cater each grind to the learning style of each individual to ensure they benefit from each grind.
I provide notes and study resources on each topic as we cover them.
Exam Questions on all topics will be covered.
