Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher in both English and Religion and I have a postgraduate diploma in AEN also. I teach in a south Dublin school and also live in that area.
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience teaching both English and SEN to junior certificate and leaving certificate students ( Religion to junior cert) in a south Dublin school. I correct state exams so I understand what a student needs in order to achieve a high grade.
I have extensive knowledge of teaching students with SEN and I have a SEN diploma and I am a former SEN coordinator in my school.
Approach to Grinds:
There are no shortcuts you can take in order to be successful in examinations. It is important to work hard to achieve high grades and in turn I will work hard for my students. I will help my students prepare for their exams through written practice… study, questioning and resources I will bring. A positive attitude and a comfortable learning environment are key for the student to be successful and I strive to provide this.

It is rare for my daughter to ask for extra lessons! The fact that she has asked Damien to continue to help her this year is a testament to the interest she has now taken in English.
