Personal Description:
I am a graduate of the University of Limerick, where I studied German and Spanish. Throughout secondary school and university I was a straight A student and I have good knowledge of the Leaving/Junior Cert curricula for German and Spanish. I have experience both working and studying in Spain and Germany and I was the 2016 recipient of the award for the best Leaving Cert German exam in Ireland.
I recently came back from a year living in Vienna, where I completed my masters studies. I have varied experience when it comes to teaching, which is listed below. I am available for German and Spanish grinds at any level as well as English lessons for non-native speakers. I am mainly available for online grinds, but also potentially in-person in the West Clare area.
Tutoring Experience:
I worked for six months as an English language assistant at a primary school in Spain.
I previously gave both German and Spanish grinds in Limerick during the 2019/2020 academic year.
I recently taught an A2-level German course for a language school in Vienna called Sprachschule Active.
Approach to Grinds:
I give grinds in one hour sessions focusing on any aspect which is desired, and with a focus on the relevant exams. I am happy to provide grinds online or in person in the Glasnevin/Phibsborough/Cabra area.
