Personal Description:

I am a secondary school English and Religious Education teacher, I live in Longford and have taught in Longford since 2020.

St Finians College, Mullingar - One Year

I have taught English at ordinary and higher level to both Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert classes and Religion to Junior Cycle exam classes. I have also corrected for the SEC for the past number of year so have experience marking state exam papers.

Approach to Grinds:

I am happy to provide notes, sample answers, homework and feedback.

I am approachable and can be contacted throughout the week if a student has any questions / is struggling with school work, particularly coming up to exam times. It helps massively if the student is aware of the areas they are struggling in and is able to inform me so when they arrive, we are ready to work on them. Eg; HL Eng - comparative, (please note, texts I have covered may not be the same as what the student has covered, but the approach to answering questions is the same).

I am flexible with hours, schedules can be changed so long as notice is given. I host grinds but am also willing to travel (within reason). Grinds are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 4:30 onwards. Group grinds of 2/3 max are an option if willing.
