Personal Description:

I'm currently a university student. I was a 5A* A-Levels student in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. Prior to this, I was also an IGCSE student with 5A*s in the same subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I've taught one-to-one grinds in my own country for almost a year now. I've taught several students, some of whom my A-Levels teacher recommended me to their parents.

Approach to Grinds:

I believe in catering to the needs of the student. I don't give conventional classes unless I've already assessed the student several times myself. Initially, I would ask the students what they would like to learn, as they know themselves more than I do (especially for older students). I then will teach whatever they want me to and I'll slowly grasp where they're at.

Students with partial weakness in certain topics:
Depending on the subject, I either straightaway give them questions and teach question by question or teach them the topic beforehand first. After that, I can start to incorporate whatever I see fit for them. Most students I've taught probably go for grinds because they are generally still learning, to which anything and everything will help.

Students with general weaknesses in all topics:
- If they lack fundamental understanding, I can teach them any topic of their choice and then proceed with questions.
- If they have a good fundamental understanding, I will straightaway give questions and teach question by question.

I don't give "exams" until I've taught them for a while. During sessions or over many sessions, I will slowly give fewer and fewer hints or help to assess their level.
