Personal Description:

Hi there. I am an outgoing and confident Maths and Science teacher. I teach Junior cycle science, junior and leaving cert maths and leaving cert biology everyday. I have been studying teaching for four years now and completed vast placements throughout my undergraduate degree. I aim to inspire students to achieve their goals while making learning stem subjects such as Maths, Science and Biology fun and engaging. I have also worked in a Gaeltacht for five years now too and have excellent experience with Irish speaking for the oral for both junior and senior cycle.
My outlook is that any student can achieve the grade they want and I won't stop until that grade is achieved.

Tutoring Experience:

Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Maths Science and Biology Education (2022) and currently completing a Masters in Education (MSc.). I am currently on placement in an all girls school which runs for the entire year (September 2022-May 2023). I teach classes of 30+ students every single day and also have years of experience teaching grinds on a one-to-one level. I have experience as a retail supervisor too which involves a lot of team managing and teaching throughout the day. Teaching is all I do and I love to do it.

Approach to Grinds:

Grinds can be light and cheerful, similar to that of a classroom setting in school while also being filled with hard work and progression. My approach to grinds is to be able to work with students in an upbeat manner which entices students to engage with the work. Being able to work on a one-to-one level with students is essential to build strong relationships and provide feedback openly.
