Information About Chloe - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I’m a secondary school teacher living and working in South Dublin with multiple years experience teaching German to both Junior and Leaving Certificate students. I studied International Modern Languages in UCD during which I completed a year studying Germanistik in a University in Germany. I have since returned to Austria several times to further improve my German and have worked in professional capacities through the medium. I have also worked with the state examinations commission as a written examiner of JC German and have, for the past several years, completed mock oral examinations for varying schools throughout Dublin.

Tutoring Experience:

I have multiple years experience teaching in various school contexts as a German teacher, during which I have taught all levels including; Junior and Leaving certificate and also TY and LCA. This includes both higher and ordinary levels (regarding leaving certificate.) I also have intensive experience as a written examiner having worked with the state examinations commission and multiple schools in Dublin. I have also completed leaving certificate mock oral examinations for these same schools for the past several years and am very experienced regarding the structure of the oral examination.

Approach to Grinds:

I intend to work with the student to identify where they are exactly in their learning and what they need to improve and then we can identify how we are to proceed ensuring we are including all elements of language learning in our plan; reading, writing, listening and speaking. We will ensure to touch upon key exam techniques to ensure that all pivotal learning can also translate to academic success.
