Personal Description:
I am a 3rd year student teacher. I am studying Home Economics and Irish in Saint Angelas College Sligo. My hobbies include Camogie, football and baking. I have a passion for teaching my subjects.
Tutoring Experience:
I have subbed and completed teaching practice in my 1st and 2nd year in college. I taught in 2 contrasting schools giving me a wide range of teaching skills and an ability to adapt to students learning levels. I also have experience as an exam superintendent, setting up and supervising practical Leaving Certificate exams. I will also complete teaching practice in a different school this year.
Approach to Grinds:
I will work 1 to 1 with students, focusing on areas of difficulty for the students. I will adapt my teaching abilities to suit the students learning style and abilities. I will use a range of teaching strategies and resources to aid this learning.
