Information About Celine - Bandon tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Celine received a 2:1 in the Bachelor of Education in Mary Immaculate College.

I am experienced in working with children at all grades in the primary school from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. I have an in depth understanding and knowledge of the Primary School Curriculum. I have worked in the mainstream classroom as well as in a special education teacher role.

I specialize in homework help, Gaeilge , English and Maths for primary school children of all levels.
I also specialize in Gaeilge (particularly in essay writing, Oral Irish and Grammar) for Junior Certificate students both higher and ordinary level. I’m more than happy to travel to pupil’s homes for tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 3 years teaching experience.

I have 3 years experience in giving grinds in Irish ranging from primary school to junior cert. I can cover all areas of language from oral to written to aural.

Approach to Grinds:

In each lesson I set aside time to discuss with the student what they believe to be their weaker areas and adjust my lesson plans accordingly. Being a student, I understand the stress in which the students are under and endeavour to make each of the subjects I offer as straightforward and accessible as possible. I strive for each of my students to leave every lesson with a deeper knowledge of the subject at hand and more confidence to work independently. I offer both online classes and grinds in your own home, in Cork city and the greater cork city area. Grinds in your own home have an additional cost of €10 per class.

I have my own notes. I make out a very specific plan for each pupil and organise activities/ notes to help them progress as much as possible. I am also willing to provide tutoring to siblings in a household at a reduced rate.

Notes are also provided with each lesson and sent via email after the class.
