Personal Description:
I am a qualified PE and Mathematics Teacher with almost three years of in-school teaching experience. I am a native Irish speaker and I worked in a Gaelcholáiste for 4 years. I recently started a new job in Foxrock, Dublin. I am a Galway native but work in South Dublin. I am an avid Gaelic Footballer at club level.
Tutoring Experience:
4 years teaching PE and Mathematics in an Irish speaking Secondary School.
Currently at the beginning of a new job in a Dublin based Loreto College
Teaching Maths in a residential Summer Camp for the past seven Summers.
Approach to Grinds:
I like to approach the topics based on a student's needs.
Preparation is key and I like to make sure each lesson has been beneficial to the student.
I am very flexible and can adapt easily to the student’s learning style.
I adopt a patient and positive approach with emphasis on practicing essential mathematical skills.
For exam students I use marking schemes for the State Examinations and focus on exam technique.
