Information About Callum - Galway tutor

Personal Description:

I am a qualified Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of Galway in 2023. I have a great interest in biology, music, and business and achieved a H1 for these subjects in the Leaving Certificate in 2018. I aim to assist students in reaching their full potential by helping them to understand the material. I have been described by colleagues and friends as friendly, patient, calm, and determined.

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience with creating, designing and presenting PowerPoints for others in the subjects of anatomy and physiology. I have assisted past students in achieving high marks in biology in the Leaving Certificate in 2021.

Approach to Grinds:

Studying Occupational Therapy has taught me that it is important to provide the 'just-right challenge' when teaching. Each student benefits from learning in unique ways, and I will cater my approach to teaching based on the student's preferences, whether this is a visual or written presentation of the material. I will also explore exam papers with students, as I believe these are a great resource for understanding common concepts that appear each year.
