Personal Description:

Hi! I'm a friendly native Spanish and English speaker offering grinds for primary school, junior cycle and leaving cert.

I grew up in Spain, as my father is Spanish, and now live in Ireland, as my mother is Irish, meaning I'm fully fluent in both languages!!

I just did the leaving cert in 2022 and got a H1 (top mark) in Spanish :)

Tutoring Experience:

When I was still doing the Junior Cycle, I was already giving grinds to people doing the Leaving Cert!
I've had years of experience teaching Spanish and can proudly say everyone I have taught has gotten top marks in their exams
Ive taught children from the age of 7 to 18 so I can approach learning Spanish in a multitude of ways :)

Approach to Grinds:

I tailor how I teach to every student differently. For older students, of course, the end goal is exams, but I want to be able to approach the subject in an enjoyable way, inspiring them to work harder at Spanish.
I start by assessing the level of the student, setting goals, and then working hard to achieve them.

For younger students, its about instilling an interest in learning the language, making it cheerful and fun! I do this by using games and worksheets to make a scary, unknown language a simple and enjoyable activity.
