Personal Description:

Hi there! I am a 20 year old college student looking to help students for Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate German.

I completed a 8 month language exchange in Germany, living and studying there full time to gain fluency in German.

I received a H1 in Leaving Cert German earning a 97% in oral speaking, 93% in listening and 95% on the written exam. Since then, I have frequently visited Germany in order to maintain my fluency.

Tutoring Experience:

I have no official experience in teaching, however I have assisted fellow classmates during my 5th year and leaving cert studies and enjoy explaining the intricacies of the German language.

Approach to Grinds:

During my studies I formulated my own style of notes to include vocabulary pages, grammar explanation pages and visual tables. For students, I will use exam papers alongside my personal notes in order to work through exam questions while at the same time explaining how their answers are formulated correctly. I will assist with exam techniques as well. In order to exercise their aural and oral capabilities, we will listen to past exam questions as well as find what interests the student to listen to (e.g. podcasts/YouTubers/Netflix shows).
