Personal Description:

My name is Brid and I am available to provide grinds in Geography, English and Music at both junior and leaving cert level. Having completed my Leaving Cert recently I know the courses in depth and have an up to date knowledge in the syllabuses and content. I recieved a H2 in Geography, and a H1 in Music and English. I am studying arts with music, english, sociology and geography in UCC. I am located in Cork City, but am open to travel to surrounding towns.

Tutoring Experience:

As said previously, I have a fresh, up to date knowledge on course content and what is expected of students when completing exams. I have always assisted siblings, cousins and friends in schoolwork. I aim to become a secondary school teacher and I enjoy teaching the subjects I am hugely passionate about.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is to recognise the students needs and meet them adequately. Nowadays I find schools and teachers put unneccesary pressure on students to perform and whilst this is temporarily effective, I believe a steady approach is much more useful. I aim to not only provide assistance in achieving the students goals, but to also teach you how to study, how to research efficiently, and what study method works the best for you. This method will not only serve you in a secondary school setting, it will serve you in university, and future jobs.
