Personal Description:

I am currently completing the Professional Masters of Education in UCC. I hold a BA in Economics & Psychology with a major in Econometrics and a Masters Degree (MSc) in Financial Economics & Risk Management.

I offer tuition in the following subjects.

-Maths (Junior Cycle Higher, Ordinary, Foundation)
-Business (Senior Cycle)

-Maths (Senior Cycle Higher, Ordinary, Foundation)
-Econometrics including R,GRETL & Stata programming. (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
-Microeconomics/Macroeconomics (Undergraduate & Postgraduate)
-Statistics & Maths for Economics (Undergraduate)

Tutoring Experience:

I began my teaching experience tutoring statistics in 2017.
In 2018 I was a tutor in UCC for final year Econometrics and data analysis.
In 2021 I joined Breakthrough Maths, a company that offers Maths tuition to second level students online. I gained experience teaching maths to all second level year groups at all levels. In 2021 I began the Professional Master of education program in UCC to further consolidate my teaching experience. This has given me the opportunity to teach Business, Economics & Maths in an all girls and an all boys secondary school (ages 12-18) over the course of 2 years.
In addition to this teaching experience, I have acted as an examiner for Junior cycle Business Studies in 2022, correcting state exams.

Approach to Grinds:

I aim to have clear conversation with the student before tuition begins. This assures that weaker areas of the subject or gaps in understanding can be identified. This will ensure that I can adjust lessons to suit the student's individual needs.
I aim to provide students with a clear path to managing and understanding the topics they are covering. Using clear and concise language, step by step approaches to questions and emphasis on practicing by doing, this goal can be achieved.
