My approach is exam focused.
Student sends me exam papers and solutions in advance of the class.
I go through the question and solution in full prior to the class so I am fully prepped.
I walk the student through the question and solution in class.

From Daragh (/5): (University Accounting) I previously completed my undergraduate degree, for the second semester I worked with Brendan weekly to complete exam papers, questions, etc. For the full semester, Brendan was extremely helpful, his way of teaching really helped me. In class, Brendan would use real-life examples and break down the material completely so I could understand the concepts better. I just completed my exam in May and I was extremely confident after all the help Brendan had given me throughout the semester. I would highly recommend Brendan if you have any upcoming exams in the accounting area.

I had been struggling with a few key areas on the course and he did a fantastic job of breaking them down to basics and explaining them to me in a way I could understand. I felt so much more confident going into the exam having worked through a number of exam questions with Brendan, I would highly recommend him as a tutor!

My problem in failing the exam was that I wasn't using the time properly even though I knew the material. Brendan gave the best advice I could ever get and for that I'm very thankful. From Wesley (/5): (University Accounting) Really nice guy, however a major accident on our motorway didnt allow our grind to take place and by the time Brendan got to our meeting point I had gone home, I had tried to contact Brendan while I was waiting but unfortunatly his phone died. My exam was the following day so a further appointment beyond our arranged date would of been pointless to me.
I have no hesitation in recommending Brendan.
