Information About Bobby - Tullamore tutor

Personal Description:

Hello. My name is Bobby. I am a Primary School teacher with 13 years experience. I have taught all classes and levels from Junior Infants to 6th class and from Special Ed to Gifted and Talented. I can give grinds at my home, online or travel to your house and I am based in the Tullamore area.

Tutoring Experience:

I have both a Bachelors in Education degree and a Masters in Education degree. I have taught in Primary Schools in Dublin, Kildare and Offaly. I also spent 6 years working at an International School abroad where I gave grinds from Primary right up to Junior cert level. I am a certified TEFL teacher and I am very passionate about the teaching of core subjects (English, Irish, Maths). I have also ran and organised numerous summer camps and sports weeks and taught during July provision on multiple occasions.

Approach to Grinds:

Children learn best when they are having fun and it doesn't feel like 'work'. I do everything I can to engage students in activities that are interesting, exciting and challenging. There are endless resources and strategies to achieve this and I utilise them all to ensure your child is engaged, happy and learning.

If you contact me for grinds, the first session is free. This is to allow me to assess where your child is at academically and outline a programme of study to help him/her progress at a rate that is bespoke to his/her level. There is no obligation for you to sign up for more grinds after this first session, however if you do sign up we will work out a schedule that is mutually convenient.

As children move through Primary and eventually on to Second level, there are inevitable gaps in their learning. Personalised grinds offer students a chance to fill in these gaps and have a more well-rounded learning experience.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss your child's learning, the curriculum or any other areas you have in mind. I teach English, Irish, Maths but of course will help with all aspects of your child's learning and homework as well.
