Personal Description:

I'm a 4th Year Medical Student in Trinity College Dublin, completed a Research Master's in Molecular Medicine. I achieved 625 points in the Leaving Certificate and scored 95th percentile in the HPAT. My subjects were Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Accounting, Applied Maths. I'm quite passionate about teaching not only the subjects listed but also study skills, college application advice and some college course guidance as well. I am available on the weekdays to teach in the evenings. and in person on the weekend.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a tutor for close to 6 years and have taught upwards of 80+ students in a variety of subjects. I have been a Leaving Certificate tutor for over 6 years, teaching maths, chemistry, physics as well as the HPAT. Currently, I am employed in a grinds school and also employed by Trinity College as a Biochemistry Tutor, teaching upwards of 40+ students a week at a University Level. Throughout the years I have consistently received positive feedback and have been continuously tailoring my approach to teaching. I have taught both local and international students, online and in person. Overall, I strive to make education an enjoyable process and equip my students with not only knowledge of their subjects but academic skills that aid in being a successful student in further education.

Approach to Grinds:

Majority of my grinds are prepared using slides with an exam focus, highlighting exactly what examiners are looking for to ensure that you get the maximum number of marks without having to spend long study sessions going over unnecessary detail. After each grind, I send the presentation slides containing all the relevant material to you, alongside exam focused questions for you to complete to assess your progress. After completing questions, I'll review any areas of weakness and help you design a study plan tailored to your needs, ensuring you get the most out of every session. My approach is very individualised, taking extra care to explain difficult topics in a clear, concise and supportive way. I will often align grind topics alongside what you are covering in school or your course so you can get the most out of class tests and build your confidence. I very much encourage discussion, and am a believer finding a way that makes study for you enjoyable.
