Information About Ava - Galway tutor

Personal Description:

Hi! I’m Ava, a student currently studying at NUI Galway. This year I am studying 3 subjects, a major in history with 2 minors in sociology and politics. Last year I also studied Philosophy. I graduated with a H1 in history with a special reward as student of the year. My grades in all 3 subjects have remained very good throughout my college experience, with 1:1 and 2:1.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a small amount of teaching experience with helping others in similar subjects. Whether that he friends, peers, younger and older siblings or someone just looking for a little bit of help.

Approach to Grinds:

I would be happy to accommodate to whatever the student would like to get out these lessons. I would recommend the student bring their textbooks and exam papers to the lessons. This way we can work through what they are struggling with. It is much easier to learn when you can visualise, so having a textbook to look at scenarios or questions will be far more beneficial for the student in order to learn. I would leave the topics the student wishes to gain help with to them, or the parent, I would happily help with whatever part of the subject they needed. I would also like to look through exam papers and prepare the student for exams as this is the main focus. I would also be happy to help with Homework and revision.
