I take a very informal, friendly and interactive approach to tutoring. I provide a positive learning environment by quickly building a rapport with my students and helping them enjoy their learning.

ArminFrom Po Ling Rita (5/5): (A-Level Maths) Armin is an excellent tutor. He is familiar with the content and teaches well. He is clear and concise and straight to the point. Very easy to communicate with and is keen to help my daughter. I usually inform him in advance of the content that my daughter wants to focus on and he is always prepared before the lesson. I also find him a very polite teacher and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

My lessons mostly consist of past-exam questions, but if I gave you textbook questions, I probably thought they were necessary. Nonetheless, I do not believe that was the issue. You cancelled some lessons at the last second, and once you failed to attend your class. From Vera (/5): (A-Level Maths) It's results day 2023, and my daughter has achieved the results needed to go to Cambridge university to read history. Armin has been absolutely central to this success, and we cannot recommend him highly enough as a Maths tutor.
We contacted Armin in January this year, when our daughter's Maths test results hovered around a solid C, and she was predicted a B in her final exams. Cambridge offered her a conditional place--if she achieved three As, including in Maths. Armin's approach was highly organised, meticulously structured, and tailor-made to what our daughter needed to focus on. He's been consistently well prepared for each individual lesson, with loads of consolidation built in, and working on weaknesses, as well as intellectually stretching her. Armin is highly professional, absolutely reliable and provides regular feedback and check-ins so that both we as parents and our daughter knew where she stood in relation to the syllabus and the expectations for the exams.
We are deeply grateful for Armin's support to get our daughter to take her offer at Cambridge. Beyond that, I am thankful that the lessons with Armin meant that my daughter still loves Maths.

I particularly liked how he took the time to understand my aims and ambitions in learning mathematics, and has tailored our lessons to suit my specific aims. Whilst looking at the mathematic side he helped highlight the missing parts of my maths knowledge and covered these areas to help me get to the required standard for my exam, in which I achieved a distinction. He also tailored his delivery method to suit a dyslexic learner. I will not hesitate to use him again if there are further areas I struggle with during my degree.

He managed to turn me from an Ungraded student to a higher tier grade student within a 2 year time period. It was an honor to be his student as he knew exactly what to do in order to improve on my abilities in Maths and Physics. Even with the inconvenience of where I lived and when I had to cancel lessons, he was very understanding and could compensate with the option of an online lesson using Whatsapp video call which was just as useful as the in-person lessons. Besides academically, He has a great personality which allowed me to learn much more and has made me always look forward for our next lesson. As part of my degree, I had to take a mathematics module which entailed Calculus, Linear algebra, Statistics, and Probabilities. When I was assigned my first coursework, I was completely puzzled and didn't know where to start. Spending days watching so many YouTube tutorials and still getting nowhere, I contacted Armin for private lessons. During our first meeting, he found out I lacked knowledge in the basics, which I needed in order to make progress in my maths module.
