Personal Description:

¡Hola! Привіт! I am a passionate and open-minded tutor with years of international experience in education, languages, and cultural projects. I have lived and studied in Ukraine, Germany, Mexico, and the United States, and I am now recently settled in Cork. I love working with people of all ages and helping them grow through learning. My main focus is not only on language learning (English, Spanish, Ukrainian) but also on developing critical thinking through culture, history, politics, and the social sciences. I believe education is a powerful tool to empower individuals and build solidarities.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching English, Spanish, and Ukrainian, as well as subjects related to history, politics, and cultural studies, to both children and adults for many years. My students have ranged from school pupils to university students, professionals, and seniors. I always adapt my lessons to the person's needs, whether it's improving conversation skills, writing, or developing broader cultural awareness.

While living in Mexico City (2015-2021), I taught classes on international history and cultural topics in both English and Spanish. Later, in Chicago (2022-2025), I continued teaching in both academic and informal settings, offering classes on film, political activism, history, and Eastern European cultures. These experiences shaped my interdisciplinary teaching style, where languages and humanities come together naturally. I love bringing languages to life through literature, cinema, art, and discussions about society and politics, making learning not only practical but inspiring.

My own studies in Berlin, Mexico, and the United States, in fields such as art history, international history and film studies, taught me the value of combining languages with humanities. I aim to create a space where people feel safe to make mistakes, grow, and rediscover their strengths through language. I believe that through languages, humanities, and critical thinking, education can truly empower people and open new perspectives.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach is student-centered, practical, and creative. I believe in building trust and creating a supportive space where students feel motivated and confident. I always focus on the individual: their goals, their pace, their personality. I try to make each lesson interesting, interactive, and connected to real life so that learning becomes enjoyable and empowering, not stressful.
