Information About Aneta - Naas tutor

Personal Description:

I am a graduate of BSc Chemistry (Hons) from University College Cork. Before that I have finished my secondary education in Downside School in Somerset, UK, so I got to experience various teaching styles throughout my education. I am currently working as Process Engineer in Intel, where I get to be responsible for training new employees in my team - that allows me to continuously keep my science and engineering explanation skills in check. I also am a volleyball coach at a local club, so I find it easy to communicate with students of all ages.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been giving grinds throughout my time at university and I was focused on making an individual approach suitable for the student, so that they can feel comfortable. I believe there are no stupid questions, and I personally prefer to ask twice than to be unsure about something. My students ranged from the ones who had no help from their teachers in school, to the ones who just wanted to make sure they have everything revised and well explained.

Approach to Grinds:

Grinds are there for you to understand the science, because once you understand it, you start to enjoy it! I combine learning a new material with constant revision, as well as the practice of Leaving Cert Exam Papers. I want my students to feel confident when going into an exam, so I make them familiar with the exam environment, so that it will not be an overwhelming experience for them.
