Personal Description:

I provide tutoring in Law and History (JC).
I hold an LLB with a Master's Degree in Human Rights Law. I graduated as a mature student and am preparing to work on my PhD in the human rights area. I have experience working in a private Law Practice as a paralegal, however the academic field is my favorite area. I have always scored high points in my own exams and achieved high standards in my written work, which is reflected in my teaching.
History has always been closely related to Law subjects that I took interest in.
I am a voracious reader and enjoy reading non-fiction, art and history, biographies and law-related fiction. I enjoy being up-to-date on recent cases and legal developments in Irish and international law. I also hold a bachelor's degree in Sociology. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking and learning languages; currently I am studying Spanish.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored students privately at both bachelor's and Master's degree levels since 2011, and have earlier experience prior to law in preparing high school students for their exams. My previous teaching included working with students looking to improve their grades long-term, cramming for exams or achieve a better understanding of law theory through its application in practice using legal principles and relevant case law.

I have provided consultations on various JC History topics to Secondary school students for their Exam preparation as well as study process throughout the school year.

Approach to Grinds:

In Law my approach aims to ensure that a student has a solid understanding of legal principles and is confident using relevant case law. I encourage students to have an efficient approach to reading and taking notes prior to mastering their answers. I help to establish a good structure in practice questions and essays, as well as providing assistance in essay-writing, coursework, guiding students' research and source-seeking.

I am available to teach Criminal, Constitutional, Company, Torts, Contract, Evidence and Jurisprudence, as well as EU & International Law (International Criminal Law, Human Rights Law).

JC History topics are always better understood through multi-focal approach, therefore, I always try to show students the meaning of the topic in the general line of history as well as its connection to social, economic and cultural areas of life and show the practical application of historical analysis in our modern day to day life.
