Information About Alex - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Alex , I am a fourth year student in Engineering at Dublin City University.
I am a friendly and patient tutor, and have found the work I have done tutoring students to be immensely rewarding.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring students for 12 months now, following from providing assistance to my younger siblings in their exams. During my time at university, I have studied increasingly complex mathematics, building and expanding on Junior and Senior cycle material.
This has provided me with invaluable experience in maths, the necessity of understanding the core principles taught at earlier levels has made explaining and using mathematical approaches something I pride myself on.

Approach to Grinds:

I use informative lessons and worked examples, first outlining the approach to solving a problem, then running through an example, then helping the students work through the problems themselves.
Where possible, I like to use graphical or visual explanations, as viewing something can provide an understanding unattainable from numbers alone.
