Part-time school teacher for 1 year teaching Maths and Physics.

Private tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology & Science to Junior and Leaving Cert Equivalent students for 2 years.

Approach to Grinds:

Everyone has different ways of learning and there are many different ways to teach. My approach when it comes to teaching involves assessing the student's current ability and then implementing a teaching method based on the student's pace and way of learning.

From my experience, the key to grasping a concept comes down to the learning foundation. If you have a weak foundation, it will be difficult for you to grasp a higher level concept. This is one of the biggest reasons students quickly lose interest in a topic they find it hard to understand. That is why I try to build foundation as one of the learning outcomes during my teaching. One of the ways I do this is by providing real life examples and simple analogies which is much more easier for the student to understand and relate to.

So far in my teaching experience, I believe I have successfully improved my students' academic performance both in terms of being able to retain the material in the memory and being able to apply it and not just for achieving higher grades in the exam.
