Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified Irish and English Teacher with over 12 years of experience. I have taught both Irish and English for Junior Cert and Leaving Certificate. I am a native Irish speaker from the Gaeltacht.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Irish, a Master of Arts Degree in Modern Irish Literature and a Higher Diploma in Education.
I am a confident, outgoing and honest person who truly enjoys teaching and inspiring students to be the best they can be both in school and in life.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 12 years teaching experience. 8 years here in Ireland and 4 teaching in the Middle East so I have experience teaching the IB curriculum as well as the Irish Curriculum.
Approach to Grinds:
During the facilitation of their learning, I promote active learning, discussion and critical thinking and enable students to take control of their learning. I will also provide a practical approach to grinds. I will teach exam techniques and marking schemes as well as notes and extra guidance where needed.
