Personal Description:
I am qualified Primary school teacher with many years tutoring experience ranging from primary school to leaving certificate students. I have been teaching for 5 years in Ireland and abroad. I have a degree in French and music from UCD and spent a year in France.
Tutoring Experience:
I graduated with a 2.1 overall masters degree in primary school teaching. I spent a year in Paris, teaching in two primary schools. I have given grinds to several junior and leaving certificate students and also have 4 years experience tutoring children from 4 - 13 years of age.
Approach to Grinds:
My approach is to pinpoint difficulties and to work on them step by step using engaging and encouraging strategies. I am enthusiastic and dedicated and love to see my students succeed. I like to get to know each student and find out what works best for them. All students learn differently whether it's using concrete materials, visual aids etc.
