Information About Aifric - Kildare tutor

Personal Description:

I’m a qualified secondary school teacher since 2017 and am now in my seventh year of teaching full time. I am experienced in Junior Cycle Geography and Junior and Leaving Cert History.

I received a First Class Honours Degree in both Geography and History from Maynooth University in 2015 and completed my Professional Masters in Education at Trinity College in 2017.

Aside from my studies and teaching, I am passionate about traveling both in Ireland and abroad and enjoy bringing these experiences to my teaching.

Tutoring Experience:

I have seven years teaching experience in three secondary schools in Dublin and Kildare.

I have particular experience and expertise in Leaving Cert History.

I am registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is student centered, with the belief that grinds should enable the learner to become both confident and inquisitive with the subject, and also gain a deeper understanding of the examination process and marking schemes to achieve their personal goals.

With Leaving Cert History, I place particular emphasis on essay writing skills and analysis. I will provide detailed PowerPoints, multiple H1 Sample Essays for each course topic, and detailed feedback for each of your essays, with a focus on how to maximise your result and be confident before you sit your exam. I also provide assistance with the RSR project.
