Information About Aideen - Dublin tutor

Personal Description:

I am a passionate, reliable and friendly secondary school teacher. I love working with teenagers and helping them reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience:

For the past six years, I have been teaching Leaving Certificate French and English in a secondary school in Dublin known for excellent academic achievement. In 2020, I had the opportunity to facilitate the Leaving Certificate French oral examinations. I also taught a number of students online who were learning from home due to the Covid 19 pandemic. As a result of this experience, I feel I am able to provide my students with the best training possible in order to succeed in their Leaving Certificate French exam.

Approach to Grinds:

I am cognisant of the fact that students often find speaking in another language very intimidating. My ultimate goal is to improve students’ confidence in themselves and arm them with the tips and tricks I have learned along the way to reduce the stress in completing a state exam in French.

I conduct my lessons online using an iPad and an Apple pen. The screen of my iPad serves as a whiteboard/PowerPoint presentation during the lesson. I provide resources and high quality notes. I am also available to correct work and offer written feedback.
