Personal Description:

I'm a former History student with a consistent academic record, including straight A grades in English throughout my school years. Currently, I'm pursuing an MSc in Archaeology, which builds on my deep interest in the past and strong analytical and writing skills. With a solid foundation in critical thinking, essay writing, and clear communication, I’m passionate about helping others build confidence in English—whether for school, university, or everyday use.

Tutoring Experience:

As for teaching experience, I’ve tutored students in the Irish equivalent of Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle—specifically those in 3rd to 6th year. I provided academic support in English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Economics, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs. I also helped them prepare for Model United Nations (MUN) conferences and other co-curricular activities, focusing on public speaking, structured argumentation, and confidence-building. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and support students across both academic and practical skill areas.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach to grinds is supportive, flexible, and student-centred. Drawing on my academic background in History and my current MSc in Archaeology, I focus on building strong foundational skills in writing, comprehension, and critical thinking. Having consistently excelled in English and tutored students from 3rd to 6th year in a range of subjects—including English, History, Psychology, and Political Science—I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s needs and learning style. I prioritise clarity, structured learning, and confidence-building, especially in essay writing and exam preparation. I also bring experience in mentoring for Model UNs and co-curricular activities, which allows me to support students not only academically but also in developing their communication and presentation skills.
