We approached Wendy after reading wonderful testimonials on how she has supported A’Level students to increase their grades.
2 lessons in and Wendy is brilliant! My daughter finds that she explains things very well and gives lots of top tips on what the examiner is looking for. So pleased we found Wendy!

We have, and still are, enjoying Wendy’s tutoring sessions.
She has brought my daughter’s knowledge and confidence on so much, and we feel as though she’ll be heading back to school for her final year in the knowledge that she CAN do this and can even excel if she’s willing to putting some serious effort for Wendy. Which she really hopes to do.

I began working with Wendy in December during year 13 where i was currently working at roughly a grade C/D in A-Level geography doing the edexcel course. I worked with Wendy up to my last exam in mid june and i think she made a huge difference, she was amazing, she was clear, thorough and talked me through everything really well. I would suggest to her to week before what i wanted to go over in the following session e.g. a topic or enquiry question and she would gather her own resources to go through with me during the session in which i would take notes from. She would talk through everything very clearly and answer all my questions. She explained things better than any teacher ever had done for me and i came away from those 6 months understanding more than i’d understood over the whole of my A-Level course, it was broken down for me and if i still didn’t understand we would go over it again and again until
i got it. Closer to the exams we began going through practice questions and exam papers together. She taught me the perfect way to answer questions, how to structure my answers and general themes to talk about in every essay. I came out with a B grade overall with only a few marks off an A, i am so pleased and couldn’t have done it without her. I would 100% recommend.

I hardly ever write reviews but I just had to write one for Wendy. We found Wendy after our son had sat the first part of his Geography A level at the end of year 12. He didn't do very well which was a shock given school had always given him glowing reports. Wendy quickly found out that he had the knowledge but just didn't know how to answer the questions in a way that would hit the mark scheme. We have just received the actual A level results and our son achieved a high A* and is now into his first choice University. I don't believe this would have been possible without Wendy and I think you would be hard pressed to find a better tutor who knows how the examination boards work. Thank you Wendy - you were worth every penny.
