Tim

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in some of the best schools in the country. My main areas of interest are Mathematics and Science, but I am also a capable language teacher. Indeed, my first job involved teaching English to classes of 60 or more in rural Zimbabwe. My teaching style is both fun and rigorous. I am committed to providing a high quality of education to individuals, and to making it fun at the same time. I hold a current CRB check.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked at some excellent independent schools in England, most recently at Uppingham School near Leicester. I worked on a teacher exchange scheme in Australia for a year, and have been teaching people privately for 7 years. I am currently teaching for the Oxfordshire Hospital School amongst other things.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and confident, and normally develop a good rapport with both students and parents. I am quite flexible in my approach to teaching, and this has been of use to my 'home-educated' clients.
