For my undergraduate degree, I attended the University of the Highlands and Islands where I obtained a First-Class Honours in Sociology and Politics Ba(Hons).

From here, I then pursued a Masters of Letters from the University of St. Andrews in Terrorism & Political Violence at the renowned Centre for the Study of Terrorism & Political Violence (CSTPV).

While I have experience with both subjects, my main areas of interest include:
Terrorism & Political Violence, Unconventional Warfare, State Responses to Terrorism, International Relations, Eastern Europe & the Cold War and Political Theory and other related areas.

Outside of Politics, I enjoy football, playing video games, practicing the guitar and saxophone, and spending time with my family and friends.

Tutoring Experience

I began tutoring one to one on a voluntary basis during the final year of my undergraduate degree. Initially towards friends and students in the years below, before then continuing on occasion throughout my postgraduate degree.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is simple, I try my best to be open, considerate, understanding and patient. I know how stressful university and assessments can be for some and this is where I would like to help in any way I can. If I felt I was unable to offer a student the services that they required, I would let them know and help find someone more suitable.
I can teach online via; skype, discord, emailing etc., from home or a public place. I am happy to offer one-to-one or group support. I offer a Person-Centred approach where our first session begins by acknowledging that each individual studies in their own way, and requires an approach that is tailored to their needs and interests. We will go over why you approached myself for these sessions, your goals and a program that is hopefully tailored to your needs.

If you have any queries then please do not hesitate to contact me.
