I graduated at Edge Hill College (University of Lancaster) in 1995 with a BSc Honours in Mathematical Studies, with Qualified Teacher Status and have since, over the last 28 years worked as a Primary School Teacher in both Key Stage 1 and 2.
Tutoring Experience
I have taught pupils at all levels, individually or in small groups, with a variety of abilities, from those struggling, to gifted children who need stretching further, requiring extra intervention.
Tutoring Approach
All my tutoring is tailored to the pupil. After my initial assessment I will work with them to address their weak areas and if required go back to basics in order for them to achieve success. I have a caring and patient nature which allows each child to grow in confidence thus enabling them to easily understand the subject. I tutor Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 SATs preparation.
