I am a primary school teacher and I am currently teaching year 6 Maths and English and preparing them for KS2 SATS tests and phonics screening. I have been tutoring 1:1 supporting children who need additional support. I believe that all children have the ability to reach their full potential and make good progress.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for a number of years and do have experience in all of the primary years. I have got good subject knowkedge and am clear about children's age related expectations in maths and english.

Tutoring Approach

I have a range of strategies to help children overcome their barriers to learning. I can use tests to create a baseline and to show progress. I believe in building independence and ensuring children have key skills to deepen their understanding and apply it with confidence.
