i am a hard working, dedicated teacher of my subject Business Studies. I am constantly looking at new and innovative ways to deliver my subject, ways that are not only fun but ways that will stretch and challenge all levels of students to achieve the highest grade possible. I have full belief that all students under my delivery can without too much support can achieve a minimum of a C grade, however I would be looking to ensure that all students progress higher and stretch their abilities further. in addition I am a senior examiner for AQA and have been marking exam papers on both the new A Level qualification paper 1 and 3 and a senior examiner again for the old specification BUSS1, BUSS2 and BUSS3 for the last 8 years and have an excellent understanding of how exams are to be approached and the ways in which students should be answering the questions to enable them to achieve high grades as the feed back from past students have shown from using my services on this site, in addition to this i also work as a re marker for AQA for students who query their exam results. I also work for Tutor2u, a leading education company helping to deliver revision sessions across the country to students in preparation for their exams. in addition i am also able to deliver Economics at AS.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for 10 years Business Studies AQA specification at 2 separate colleges. The first at Fareham College, where I delivered both A Level and BTEC specifications and more recently at Havant College, now known as Havant and southdowns college, one of the top performing Colleges in the country for this subject, where i have taken students from lower predicted grades to A*

Tutoring Approach

my approach to tutoring would be to enhance the delivery that has already been undertaken in the classroom, and to build upon those skills, challenge each student to higher levels, work on exam technique, answering questions and focusing on achieving A-B grades so the student when writing their exam will have the confidence and ability to reach these levels without any problems. all my students i have tutored have received A grades in their exams thanks to my structured hard revision approach.
