I'm a professional Actor, Musician and Writer with a passionate approach to education. The pursuit of knowledge should be engaging and rewarding and this is the ethos that drives my approach to tutoring.
I have two Masters degrees, the first in English Literature and Theatre Studies (joint honours) from the highly acclaimed University of Glasgow, and a second in Acting from the Academy of Live and Recorded Art, one of the highest rated drama schools in the UK.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for 7 years now, and in that time I have worked with every type of student under the sun. I have a wealth of knowledge and a large library of lesson plans to choose from, but I am always capable of adjusting for the individual student in front of me.
I also work as an examiner for OCR, so I have a very good understanding of what is required from students in their exams, and can always point them in the right direction.
Most of my students have achieved at least their initial expectations for results, and many have indeed exceeded them, going on to pursue further education at A-Level and university.

Tutoring Approach

I specialise in tutoring English and Drama up to A-level with sessions that are tailor made for the student and I strive to make the process as engaging, insightful and enjoyable as possible.
