I am an enthusiastic and experienced English tutor with twenty years teaching experience in secondary schools, teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level. I am a calm, patient and supportive tutor aiming to help all my tutees achieve their full potential and the best possible exam results.
I am currently an A Level English Literature examiner so understand the recent changes to A level mark schemes and expectations. I was an English GCSE co-ordinator for many years and I have tutored a student through the 2018 English Language and Literature exams so I am familiar with the latest GCSE mark scheme and expectations.
I can help with essay writing, exam technique and time management, and how to achieve the highest grades across all levels of English Language and Literature but I can help with all aspects of English study and will tailor my lessons and support to your needs.
