I am passionate and patient when teaching and enjoy tutoring maths and english from KS2 to A-Level. Currently I am a second year student at UCL studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering and so for any student considering engineering, finance or related arenas in the future, I can offer valuable insights regarding these topics.

Tutoring Experience

I have 2 years previous tutoring experience in maths, english and Entrance Exams preparation. The method in which a concept is introduced to a student remains a vital part of succeeding in academia and is what I can do best. I have tutored both Maths and English Language from KS2 to GCSE level. I have also tutored maths up to A-Level. I only teach English Language at GCSE level and not Literature.

Tutoring Approach

For A-Level Maths, I cover topics from C1-C4 and Statistics (S1-S3). For many AS math students, the subject of statistics seems to be a very sticky topic and can be a hindrance to their overall maths grade. However I believe that only when approaching topics such as permutations and combinations from a very fundamental manner can you really grasp and reason with the questions that come along with it.

I was taught by the best of teachers anyone can ask for. Having struggled with English from primary school, I dreaded the prospect of studying English for another 4 years and showed no sign of optimism. However under the guidance of a superb teacher I excelled in the subject by achieving an A* and consequently made the greatest improvement in my class. I have first hand experience in understanding the strategies and ethics required to do well in the subject of English at all levels up to GCSE.
