I am the eldest of a family of 5 and have enjoyed helping them with homework from an early age.
I am currently a medical student and have previously studied Marine Biology. I have been working with children for the past 2 years in a Hospital setting and I have previously worked as a teachers assistant working with difficult children.
Having spent a large time of my life studying for various different exams and qualifications I understand the difficulty of understanding and retaining a large amount of knowledge and have developed a number of different skills to help over come this.
I enjoy passing on my knowledge and helping children find the best way that they learn.
I was a teachers assistant between University years working with difficult children at GCSE level. I also frequently help my siblings with their homework, making sure that they understand the reasoning behind the work.
I like to approach teaching each child individually, finding out what their strengths and weakness are and how they learn best. Then working with their strengths to support their weaker skills. Supporting them to find out the answer for themselves and understand the material.
