My name is Yuen Humble. I recently emigrated to the UK and live with my husband in Partick, Glasgow.
I am qualified in Mandarin language because I have a Certificate of Proficiency in Putonghua (Mandarin): The State Language Commission of China, Grade 3 Level A (71.4/100). In addition, I have a Master Degree of Research in Life Sciences in Glasgow Caledonian University. Previously, I achieved a Degree of Bachelor of Science (hons) in Biotechnology taught in Mandarin from Jinan University (Mainland China). I have lived in Hong Kong, Mainland China and United Kingdom. I have acquired three languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English) to communicate with people fluently. Moreover, I am presently learning Japanese. I can speak a little bit of Japanese and French. Tutoring Experience

I am currently teaching children and I specialize in giving lessons to young learners, however I am very able to teach adults as well. In addition I can prepare adults for travel and business in China.

I am enthusiastic about crafts and teaching. I have experience of running craft workshops such as Willow lantern and Pinwheel making workshop on Feb/2018. I did material purchasing, gathering and preparing.

Tutoring Approach

I am enrolling students for private lessons in Mandarin language. I provide fun and friendly lessons including games, songs, maths, Chinese festivals, culture and useful words and phrases and sentences to enhance the learning experience.

With 1.38 billion people in China, early exposure to Chinese language can improve one’s prospects for the modern world. I ensure that learning Chinese is an enjoyable and stimulating process with guaranteed positive results!

When I was teaching craft, I showed the method to the students step by step. When they needed help, I was always willing to help.

If you or your family have interest in learning, please do not hesitate to contact me.
