Information About Yashar - Banbury tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Yashar:
My career in science started in year 2000 when I had finished my undergraduate studies in biological sciences. My work in science involved many areas including microbiology, biochemistry, virology and molecular biology.
My masters studies introduced me to the amazing world of viruses. I continued my research in virology until I obtained my PhD in virology from The University of Warwick. Currently, I am working as a scientist for an internationally recognised biotechnology company. My main area of research is vaccine design. I work on a range of vaccines for poultry enhancing them to provide a better immunity in poultry flocks.
Teaching is my passion. Unfortunately, my work as a scientist does not give me the opportunity to teach. It is pure research. Following the completion of my masters studies, I started teaching virology to first year medical students in one of universities in my home country. Durring my PhD studies, I taught several lab classes to the undergraduate students of university of Warwick.
I usually start my teaching with a casual chat to understand your needs in the subject. After the chat and during our learning process, I will focus on the areas that you need the most. I use many analogies and examples to provide the best possible explanation for the topic. Questions will always be welcomed and encouraged during the class or in written format by email or text messages after the class. I will also provide you with reading materials that you may need such as print outs, PDF files or web pages for your reference. If you are preparing for your GCSE or A level tests, I will familiarise you with test samples during our classes. This will give you the opportunity to build up the confidence that you will need. I will also be able to help you with structuring your time if you need and to build up strategies for revision.
